Cara grew up in Pompey New York and is the youngest of seven siblings. She and her family moved to Boulder Colorado in 2012 to be near relatives. She recently moved back to Syracuse for school and work opportunities. She graduated from Silver Creek High School in 2018 and has spent that time afterwards traveling and gaining life experience.

Cara has grown up around dogs her whole life and has a passion for animals.  She has volunteered at Longmont Colorado Humane Society and has had older siblings work at Blueprints prior. The first dog she ever owned was a standard poodle, named after the Japanese hero dog, Hachiko. Just this past year she added a  new member to her family who is an Italian greyhound named Morty. Cara is eager to work more with the dogs to further her understanding about dog behavior and training.
