Kate spent her entire childhood in Solvay, NY. After high school, she pursued her first dream and studied cooking and pastry for two years. During this time, Kate worked in the restaurant industry for years before following her true passion, working with animals.

Kate worked as a kennel attendant for the CNY SPCA for two years. This was a very rewarding job as she helped train and place animals to their new homes. As much as she loved helping in the shelter, Kate wanted to further her career working with furry friends and started with Blue Prints in August 2021.

In her off time, she loves hiking and going to see live music. But, hanging out with all her doggy friends and taking portrait photos of the daycare dogs is still her favorite pass time!
