Jim was born and raised in Syracuse and graduated from Henninger High School in 1995. He received his associate’s degree in criminal justice from Onondaga Community College and a bachelor’s degree in history from SUNY Cortland. Jim’s family always had dogs, which were all rescues. In 2013, Jim completed the Animal Behavior College dog trainer program and loves working with a variety of dogs both in the daycare, classes, and packages.
In 2005, Jim rescued his first dog, Bellona, a pit mix. In 2010, he added Meatloaf, a purebred pug who was looking for a loving home.
