About Blue Prints

Blue Prints Dog Studio began as an idea that was original to Syracuse in 2000. The philosophy of Blue Prints was simple - emphasize the importance of positive reinforcement and proper socialization in order to correctly shape the behaviors of dogs. This general concept was integrated into all three aspects of the business; Daycare, Training and Grooming. In 2002, the business was sold and expanded.
A website was created and a radio advertising campaign kicked off to further promote the philosophy. As awareness of the benefits associated with positive reinforcement grew, so did Blue Prints. As a result, an additional room was constructed to accommodate the growing daycare and the training curriculum expanded to serve various instruction levels including puppy kindergarten, beginner obedience, intermediate and individual private lessons.
In 2006 the business again changed ownership and expanded further. A third daycare room was created to allow additional room to work with and train the dogs while the grooming facilities were upgraded and expanded. Throughout the expansion and growth of the business, there have been a lot of "superficial" changes that have been made. One thing has remained constant and continues to separate Blue Prints Dog Studio from other similar facilities - The Positive Reinforcement Philosophy is the core belief that guides how our canine friends' constructive behaviors are entrenched as their "Blue Print" for success.
